Requirements of Recycling

The county health department in which your complex is located requires recycling of cans, aluminum, glass, plastic, paper and cardboard. Management has provided receptacles for these items that clearly identify into which container the recycling items are to be placed.

If the tenant violates the requirements of the recycling laws of the county in which this complex is located, a fine equal to $50 per violation will be assessed against the tenant and treated as additional rent if the fine is not paid within 10 (ten) days of the assessment, the landlord shall have the right to proceed with eviction proceedings including attorney fees and cost as outlined in this lease agreement.

Trash

According to state and Middlesex County law, all residents must recycle and separate the recyclables from household trash. There are three cans inside enclosures. One for trash (green) and two for recycling (blue). Please use them as follows:

Large green metal dumpster for TRASH ONLY.
One blue bin for mixed glass, plastic, and aluminum ONLY.
One large blue bin for newspapers & cardboard ONLY.

There will be a $500 fine for anyone not observing the recycle/trash guidelines. This includes leaving trash and recyclables outside of the containers.

It is the law. To avoid fines, please follow the rules!

Tenant’s property

All personal belongings must be kept in the apartment at all times. No items are to be stored outside or in common areas. There will be a disposal fee of $400 for personal property that is left outside of the apartment and must be removed by our staff. No warnings will be given.
